Productivity SurveyStaffing and Clinical Productivity SurveyIn 2019 the SAAAPM partnered with Drs. Amr Abouleish (UTMB Galveston), Charles Whitten (UT Southwestern Dallas) and Mark Hudson (University of Pittsburgh) on an expanded survey for clinical productivity. Previous surveys were reported in 2003 and 2013, (see Anesth Analg 96: 802-812; 2003, http://anesth.utmb.edu/Public/publications/SAAAReport.pdf). This new survey examined both clinical productivity and staffing at a facility level. It was also expanded to look at 4 areas: surgical anesthesia (including NORA), obstetric anesthesia, critical care services, and acute pain medicine services.
