Benjamin Salter, DO

Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai

Benjamin Salter, DO is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine and Cardiovascular Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and completed medical school at Michigan State University. Currently, Benjamin is the Program Director for the Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In addition to his current position, Benjamin has taught workshops on transesophageal echocardiography, transthoracic echocardiography and regional anesthesia for cardiac surgical procedures at several national and international anesthesiology meetings. He also created and implemented the resident OSCE simulation curriculum for Mount Sinai’s Anesthesiology department.
