AAPAE Candidate – Baumiller

Donna Baumiller, BS, C-TAGME

Cleveland Clinic

Statement of Interest

In my tenure of 10 years in anesthesia education, I feel have acquired the experience and commitment that will contribute to the council in an impactful way. I would like to lean into my strong communication skills to serve as the AAPAE Council Member for Membership and develop robust membership connections. I feel that by being an active Membership Council Member, I could further encourage and support the growing AAPAE group and contribute to the leadership group overall. If elected to this leadership position, I would work to further promote the AAPAE group and enhance the membership experience such as collaborating with my colleague who serves as the Mentorship Council Member and offering new coordinator specific sessions throughout the academic year. I am consistently striving to expand my professional development and I take very opportunity to learn and grow no matter how small the task. Being elected to council will not only serve as a way to contribute to the amazing anesthesia professionals but a chance to further learn and grow from them.
