Kathy Bauer, MEd

Kathleen (Kathy) Bauer, MEd is the Administrator for the Anesthesiology Residency and Fellowships at Cleveland Clinic. Kathy holds a Masters of Education in Adult Learning and Development from Cleveland State University and a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from Ohio Northern University. She has worked within the Graduate Medical Education field for over five years and has helped contribute to GME and Anesthesiology Education programs in a variety of fashions, such as: overall technology/systems strategy, development of training opportunities, learning management system (LMS) development/redesign, composition of program applications and Program Coordinator/Manager development. Kathy is an active member of Cleveland Clinic’s GME Program Advisory Council where she collaborates with other Education Administrators on global changes, projects and opportunities for all programs. Kathy is a member of the Cleveland Clinic Education Collaborative and has received three Scholarship in Teaching Awards from Case Western Reserve University for initiatives she worked on with others in GME and Anesthesiology which were deemed significant contributions to educational programs. Kathy helps facilitate the Education Committee with the Vice Chair of Education and is also an active participant in various committees and projects within the Anesthesiology programs. Kathy has worked to onboard and mentor new Program Coordinators/Managers to get them acclimated to Anesthesiology Education, provide support/guidance to new program leadership, assisted with efforts in evaluation system development and is working on developing more advanced educational dashboards for the Anesthesiology faculty members.
