I am an Anesthesiologist/Intensivist at Cleveland Clinic with more than 10 years of clinical experience. My current role also includes serving as the Quality Improvement Officer and Chair, Compliance committee of the Anesthesiology Institute, Cleveland Clinic for more than 6 years. Over the last 2 years I have also contributed to education by serving as the program director of the largest anesthesiology critical care fellowship program.

I completed my medical school (MBBS) from Armed Forces Medical College in India followed by residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Critical Care Anesthesiology from Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio.

I also completed fellowship in Quality in 2016 and Program Directors Certificate course in 2017 from Cleveland Clinic.

I am an active member of both SOCCA and SCCM. As a member I have made contributions to SCCM through service on TeleICU committee, Ultrasound committee, Critical Care educators task force. I have chaired the Postgraduate education committee and was elected to Anesthesiology section steering committee as member at large where I made numerous organizational/speaker contributions and publications. These have been recognized by SCCM through presidential citation and FCCM designation.

Over the last couple of years I have actively participated in SOCCA including its program directors committee. Through engagement at the program directors committee, I am contributing as the lead on program director orientation task force and as a member of outreach taskforce.

I seek your support for nomination to the position of Councilor, Critical Care, Association of Anesthesiology Subspeciality Program Directors (AASPD) to promote the vision, mission and value of AASPD in my subspecialty.
