AAPAE Candidate – Stabler

Debi Stabler, M.Ed.

Oregon Health & Science University

Debi Stabler earned her master’s degree in higher education in 2004, and worked in undergraduate higher education and student services until 2010, when she made the leap into graduate medical education. She is the Education Manager in the Department of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. Debi was one of the founding members of the Association for Anesthesiology Program Administrators and Educators (AAPAE) and is currently wrapping up a 2-year term as AAPAE Secretary. Debi has previously served in leadership positions both within OHSU and on the board of directors for another professional organization, Oregon Women in Higher Education. Debi enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family, including a 14-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son.
