Faye Haggar, EdD, MEd

Faye Haggar, EdD, is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Education Development & Academic Technology for the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She has her doctorate degree in education and is a self-proclaimed technology nerd with a passion for improving teaching and learning in graduate medical education. Her position allows for work in the areas of instructional design, education innovation, faculty development, assessment, and research initiatives.

Dr. Haggar embraces her ENFJ personality, is a firm believer in people, and takes great pride in working with others to improve themselves, their community...or to just solve wicked problems. Her work has been presented at a number of national and international conferences such as Society for Education in Anesthesia Conference (SEA), AAMC Central Group on Educational Affairs (CGEA), The Generalist in Medical Education, the Northern Rocky Mountain Educational Research Association (NRMERA)...and don't forget right here for the Society of Academic Associations of Anesthesiology & Perioperative Medicine (SAAAPM-AAPAE). Before joining the UNMC, she worked at the University of South Dakota and taught in the K-12 setting.
