I am a graduate of the University of California in San Diego School of Medicine. I completed my anesthesiology residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. I went on to complete my pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago. After my fellowship I joined the faculty at Seattle Children’s Hospital where I was honored with several teaching awards, completed the ‘Teaching Scholars’ program and went on to serve as the Director of the Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship program. Most recently I have joined the faculty at Washington University in St. Louis where I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology in the Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology. At Washington University I serve as the Residency Program Director and was recently elected as an inaugural fellow in the Washington University School of Medicine Academy of Educators.
